“Rescuing Six Abandoned Tiny, Hairless Puppies: A Heartwarming Tale of Kindness”

One day, during his walk to work, an individual came across a group of six tiny creatures that seemed to be in need of assistance. Although he was unsure of their species, the animals were huddled together in the woods all alone with pink skin and no sign of their mother around. Luckily, the passerby brought them to a shelter for further attention.

Upon their arrival at an animal sanctuary located in Sylacauga, Alabama, a deal between the staff and rescuers was made to lend a hand to these six-pack animals. According to Nicole Zaguroli of Secondly City Canine Rescue (SCCR), a non-profit organization in Illinois, the dogs were in such poor condition that the staff had to wear masks while bathing them due to the overwhelming stench. The pups were suffering from scabies, malnourishment, and exposure to the cold. Initially, the staff believed that they might be Cocker Spaniel mixes, but Jacquie Cobb, President of SCCR, knew she had to extend help as soon as she saw the puppies on social media.

The pups were taken to Auburn Veterinary College for prompt medical care. Now, the focus is on which breed to state when promoting them for adoption online. For now, they’ve been placed in different foster homes.

Over time, the damaged skin was replaced with white hair. A DNA analysis confirmed that the puppies were purebred Great Pyrenees dogs. Fortunately, the pups grew and thrived into healthy adult dogs. Their new families are preparing for each of them to weigh more than 100 pounds.
