Polish artist Mike is one such talent who has been using his ten years of editing software experience to create visually stunning and original works of art.
The artist’s creations incorporate depictions of natural scenery alongside elements of gothic genres. During an interview, he revealed that his creative process commences with the selection of a setting. Specifically, he seeks out the finest representation of a mountainous landscape before identifying the ambiance he desires for the piece. From there, he chooses photos captured in a similar climate and experiments with various combinations until settling on the most pleasing outcome.
According to the artist, he acquired his skills through self-teaching and finds inspiration from surrealist art of the past. However, he still aims to create art that is distinctively his own. His advice to fellow artists is to avoid comparing oneself to others and instead focus on expressing what is in their own hearts. After all, every person has their own individual beat that sets them apart from others.
