The property is located in a luxurious area known as Jane Seymour Beach, named after the actress who once resided in the neighborhood.
Blended family: The couple had originally intended to live in the house together, but they had a change of heart and decided to put it on the market, as per TMZ. Jennifer Lopez shares the home with her daughter Emme, while Alex Rodriguez’s kids Natasha and Ella also spend time there.
The house, built in 1949, exudes classic charm yet is equipped with all modern amenities including a steam sauna, spacious closets, and a beautiful front courtyard. The property was listed by Carl Gambino of Compass.
Selling the house was a smoother process for the celebrity couple compared to the previous owner’s experience. The house was initially listed for a hefty $10.495million in June 2017, but the price had to be lowered multiple times before it finally sold.
The actor purchased the property for $3.5 million in 2004 and reportedly spent a lot on renovations. Despite letting go of this property, J. Lo still owns a substantial real estate portfolio which includes a penthouse in New York, a mansion in Hidden Hills, California, and a sprawling estate in Bel Air purchased for $40million in 2017.
Additionally, she also owns a $10 million mansion in the Hamptons and a compound in Coral Gables, Florida.
