On November 5th, Serafina received a call about a puppy in Buenos Aires. When she arrived and saw the condition of the small dog, her heart broke into pieces. The puppy had been abandoned in a trash pen and was found the previous night. The first few hours at the vet, the puppy still lost consciousness, but luckily around 2:00 PM he woke up and cried.
Bob, as they named him, needed intensive blood transfusion, but his body took it well. The next day, he was still weak, but the vet allowed him to come to Serafina’s home, which was a relief since she didn’t have much money. Bob nearly slept the whole way home.
After two days at Serafina’s home, Bob got much better. He could eat, walk and play with his favorite toys. On day 10, Bob was adopted by his God mother and gained a new fur brother. Although it was difficult to let him go, they knew he would have a good home. Bob’s resilience and will to survive touched the hearts of everyone who met him.
